About the event
The Indian two-wheeler industry is set to enter a new era starting next year. A new era in terms of regulations – safety (2017) and stringent BS VI emission norms (2020). A new era of electric mobility is set to begin where startups are promising to offer game-changing products, where OEMs are climbing up the technology curve and where the overall EV ecosystem (including vendors and dealers) sees major developments with the government providing support like never before.
Along with these developments, a new era is taking shape in the marketplace. Meanwhile, the once motorcycle-dominated industry is being scooterised as families and youngsters opt for rider-friendly, multi-utility features and zero maintenance costs. Also, conventional retail channels are witnessing some serious change, while some alternate channels are taking a digital shape in a market that is attracting new players. Then there is a new set of young consumers born at the turn of the century who will get their licence to ride/drive soon. They speak a totally different language in terms of technology, design or even mobility.
All in all, the Indian two-wheeler market space is set to see some major developments which will change the contours of the industry. In such a scenario, incremental efforts or conventional strategies may not yield the desired results. There are challenges, but there are even bigger opportunities in the industry's journey.
With the India Two-Wheeler Industry Conclave 2016, our effort is to create a knowledge forum where policy makers, key representatives from OEMs, suppliers and dealers come together and discuss and debate a wide range of ideas and issues pertaining to this key industry and take it to the next level. The India Two-Wheeler Industry Conclave 2016 is India's first exclusive forum for the two-wheeler industry.
If you are a stakeholder (OEM, supplier, dealer) in the two-wheeler industry or an industry consultant, here are a few reasons why you should attend India's first two-wheeler industry forum.
This event will also be valuable for students pursuing an engineering or marketing course hoping to make a career in the automotive industry.
